About Me

Born in Preston in the early sixties I graduated from the University of Bradford with a degree in Chemistry, later moving into the field of computing.

After a long and successful career developing and supporting business and banking systems on IBM midrange computers, my last contract finished in 2014.

Having travelled and worked abroad on many occasions, I enjoy different cultures, and have seized the opportunity to dedicate my time to travelling.

My current Interests include :
- Travel - experiencing different cultures and local cuisine.
- Sampling beers and visiting local microbreweries.
- Computers and the internet.
- Long walks in the hot mid-day sun.
